We Buy Property. We Help With What Comes Next.
Homes General is a real estate investment and seller-solutions business. A direct purchase is our first lane when it fits, with support around the property transition when appropriate and available.
Why Homes General exists
Many sellers do not wake up wanting to run a real estate process. They are dealing with a house they can no longer afford, a repair list they do not want, tenants, an inheritance, a vacant property, a deadline or a move that needs to happen first.
Homes General's core business is acquiring real estate. When we are the buyer, we say so clearly. If the numbers and terms work for both sides, a direct purchase can remove repairs, public showings and much of the preparation that comes with a traditional sale.
We help with more than the property itself
As-is purchase
If Homes General buys the property, repairs and renovation after closing are ours to manage. Cleanout assistance may also be possible depending on the transaction.
Move timing & assistance
We can often structure closing or possession around the seller's agreed timeline, and moving assistance may be available when appropriate.
Market-sale alternative
If cash is not the right fit, Homes General can help connect the seller to appropriately licensed real estate professionals across all 50 states for a separate listing relationship.
What comes next
If the seller is buying another home, we can help connect them with a lending network of 150+ lenders and programs with different specialties, subject to eligibility and availability.
Closing & property resources
Title/closing resources, contractors and other property-service professionals may be available by location and need.
Seller choice stays intact
You remain free to select your own providers. When Homes General is the buyer, we do not choose the attorney who represents the seller.
One place to start, not one service for every problem
Homes General does not need to become the seller's lender, Realtor, contractor, title company or attorney. We start with the property and, when another professional is useful, help the seller find the appropriate lane rather than forcing them to build the entire network from scratch.
Investor purchases can involve affiliated acquisition entities, property-specific LLCs, assignments and partner investors. Homes General does not think the seller should have to guess what those terms mean or discover the structure at the last minute. Seller's Lookout explains how these transactions work and how Homes General approaches them.
Clarity includes the transaction structure
Why “General”?
The Homes General name reflects military-inspired values we want the company to bring to a property transaction: discipline, readiness, accountability, service and care for the people depending on the outcome. One of our direct partners brings Army sergeant experience to the business, and that service mindset helped shape the idea behind the name.
The General's Rule
A direct sale can be fast without being confusing, and seller support should not erase the seller's right to choose.
